The Secret Chefs is a small, hands-on catering business based in Falkirk — not a production line with a van on the side.

Andrew Ratcliffe has been cooking professionally since 2002. He trained in Perth, spent time at Gleneagles and Crieff Hydro, worked in rosetted Scottish kitchens and cooked in Greece and France before bringing the lot back home to Central Scotland.

He'll develop the menu with you, cook it himself, and either deliver it ready to eat or serve it at your table. Everything is handmade and prepared fresh on the day of your event — which is usually the part guests notice, and the reason people come back the following Christmas.

Traditional buffets, themed parties, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, christenings and the office Christmas do. Hot food arrives hot, cold food arrives properly presented, and there's always enough — something our customers mention more than anything else.

02 — Signature Service

Home Dining

Restaurant dining, in your own dining room. Andrew arrives with everything he needs, cooks your starter, main and dessert on the premises, and serves the table properly while you stay exactly where you should be — sitting with your guests.

Bespoke Menus & Outside Catering

Very little here is off-the-shelf. Menus are developed around the occasion, the style of the day, what your guests actually eat and what you want to spend — including BBQ and outdoor catering, which we do a great deal of through the summer.

Sample menus are a starting point, not a fixed list. Past customers have gone Scottish, Indian, BBQ, or something built entirely from scratch.
